I’ve been perfecting my Christmas Sugar Cookies (cut outs) for 20+ years. this is often the most effective Christmas Cookie ice formula i take advantage of to prime them!


INGREDIENTS:


  • 1 Cup shortening, like Crisco (*see notes)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoner
  • 1 teaspoon flavourer (*nut allergies see notes)
  • 1 massive bag granulated sugar (2 lbs, concerning eight cups)
  • 1/2 Cup cream or milk (more if required to succeed in desired consistency)
  • Food coloring, if desired

DIRECTIONS:


  • In the bowl of your mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or in an exceedingly massive bowl to be used along with your hand-held mixer, place shortening and extracts. Beat till creamy (at least one minute).
  • Begin adding granulated sugar one cup at a time.
  • When the mixture begins to become dry start adding cream a touch bit at a time alternating with the granulated sugar.

NOTES:
