GROUND TURKEY STUFFED PEPPERS

This delicious ground turkey dish formula may be a healthy different to ancient dish. It’s really one in all my favorite ground turkey recipes
INGREDIENTS:
- 6 giant bell peppers, any color
- 2 cups wild rice, cooked
- 1 lb. ninety three Lean ground turkey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 little onion, diced
- 1 16 oz. jar crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 one/2 cups sharp store cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat kitchen appliance to 350 degrees. Prepare your rice and put aside. you'll would like 2 cups of parched rice.
- Cut off the super of the peppers take away the seeds, trim the bottoms to assist them sit flat within the cooking pan and rinse completely. in an exceedingly giant pan boil the peppers for five minutes, take away from water and switch the other way up onto a towel to dry.
- In a giant cooking pan add the vegetable oil, garlic and onion, saute till tender. Add the turkey and brown till completely parched.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, rice, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup of the chopped cheese and stir till emulsified.
- Fill the peppers equally with the mixture, place in an exceedingly gently lubricated ten in. forged iron cooking pan, or baking dish of your selection. Bake uncovered for twenty five to half-hour. take away and add the remaining cheese to the highest of peppers and bake for an extra five minutes or till the cheese is liquified.
